The antiserum was produced against synthesized phosphopeptide derived from human Mnk1 around the phosphorylation site of threonine 385 (L-P-TP-P-Q).
Purification:
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography usingepitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removed by chromatography using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.
Mnk1 (Phospho-Thr385) antibody detects endogenous levels of Mnk1 only when phosphorylated at threonine 385.
